Domaine les Vignes Oubliées – Luxembourg

LANGUEDOC

Preview RVF: Jean-Baptiste Granier, a young agricultural engineer, started the Forgotten Vines project with the tutelary Olivier Jullien. The approach is singular as well as meritorious: it was born from the desire to preserve old plots in the municipality of Saint-Privat (a piece of the world as the Languedoc has so much) condemned by the cooperative economic logic, now cultivated in partnership with their owners. Perhaps more anecdotal but equally touching, the wines are raised in a cool cave in a former oil mill. The eponymous terroir of Terrasses du Larzac has been asserting itself since its beginning, in 2007, as a neat and expressive wine, carrying a true message of terroir. In a smart and digestible style, the declared wine in Languedoc is a pure happiness
